Bullguard is “waiting” for you in the Forest of Wolves. To get there, start from the Front Hills Shrine. Follow the main path, crossing the bridge. Always keep to the right. Bullguard stands tall there, blocking a large gate – the only path leading to the Black Wind Mountain area.

This is where you show your skills and ingenuity. Remember, Bullguard is tough, but not invincible.
Before “rushing in” like a moth to a flame, take some time to “read” your opponent. Bullguard uses a halberd – this weapon has a long range, but its attack speed is quite slow.
Bullguard will swing the halberd horizontally twice, usually ending with a vertical slash. Overhand slams are a very powerful attack, but have a fairly long “wind-up” time. Bullguard can also jump into the air and slam the halberd down. This attack is very dangerous and requires focused dodging. He can also charge towards you, often combined with a vertical slash.
After each attack, especially the vertical slash, Bullguard needs some time to “recover” (pull his weapon out of the ground). This is your golden opportunity to attack.
At this point, you don’t have the “treasure” Immobilize, so the main strategy is “dodge-and-attack,” taking advantage of the opponent’s openings.
