This guide will not only help you defeat Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang but also reveal hidden secrets and rewards that you might miss! Let’s explore!
Location and Important Warning
You need to go to the Bamboo Grove and find your way to the Snake Trail. Find the nearest Shrine in the Snake Trail area. This will be our starting point. From the Shrine, you will have two options. Either you follow the main path, crossing the bridge. Or, immediately to the left of the Shrine, you will see a small path through the bamboo. This is the more “secret” path. Whichever path you choose, walk alongside the stream.
Continue following the stream, and you will reach a large marshy area. This is Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang‘s “headquarters”! Look out for the white reed flowers – a sign of this area. This marshy area is quite large, and Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang can appear anywhere. Be “highly vigilant”! Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang will “jump out” to attack you as soon as he “smells” a “stranger.”
Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang Boss and Fight
Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang is not an “easy” opponent. He has very fast and powerful attacks, requiring you to be “quick and agile” and have a reasonable strategy. Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang has very unpredictable attacks from behind, especially the back kick. Attacking from the front makes it easier for you to observe and dodge his attacks.
Pouncing and Leaping: Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang usually starts the battle by jumping high and stomping down. Dodge to the side when he is about to stomp.
Arm Swipes: He will continuously swipe his arms forward. Dodge to the side or back away to avoid them.
Back Kick: This is the most dangerous attack! When Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang turns his back, be careful! He can suddenly unleash a powerful back kick. Dodge quickly when you see him turn around.
Sonic Croak: Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang will spit out a stream of sound that deals damage. Dodge to the side or block if you can.

Grab Attack: If near, Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang will also try to grab you.
After “struggling” to defeat Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang, you will receive well-deserved rewards. But important is Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang Spirit and Tadpole Material.
