You need to find a total of 4 Purple Talismans. As mentioned above, they are scattered in two main areas: Webbed Hollow and Temple of the Yellow Flowers. Each area has its own traps and enemies, so be careful! Once again, remember that you MUST complete the collection before facing the final boss of Chapter 4. Otherwise, you will miss the opportunity to discover the secret and receive the reward.
Purple Talisman 1: Middle Hollow
From the Middle Hollow Keeper’s Shrine, turn to face away from the direction of the Keeper’s Shrine. Go straight ahead, then turn right. You will see a slope and stairs leading up, near some rocks covered in green moss. Continue up that slope and stairs.
Go straight through the area with white spider cocoons. Don’t worry, they won’t attack you!
When you exit the spider cocoon area, turn left. You will see a bridge and a building on the other side. Cross the bridge, heading towards the building. When you get close to the building, turn left towards the large tree. You will see the altar located in the middle.
Approach the altar. A cutscene will automatically begin. After the cutscene, interact with the altar to get the first Purple Talisman.
Purple Talisman 2: Cliff of Oblivion
Stand facing the Cliff of Oblivion Keeper’s Shrine. Look to your right. You will see the altar located right in the shallow water area. Go straight towards the altar and interact to get the second Purple Talisman. Too easy, right!
Purple Talisman 3: Relief of the Fallen Loong
Stand behind the Relief of the Fallen Loong Keeper’s Shrine. You will see a rough path, with broken wood and stones on both sides.
Go up that path. You will see a burning torch near the top. Go through the area with cobwebs.
Continue along the path, uphill and around to the right. When you reach the top, you will see a large, ancient tree and a rock with tangled roots.
Follow the small path that turns left. The altar is right behind it. When you get close, a cutscene with Fourth Sister will appear. After the cutscene, interact with the altar to get the third Purple Talisman.
Purple Talisman 4: Court of Illumination
From the Court of Illumination Keeper’s Shrine, follow the path leading to a staircase behind the Keeper’s Shrine. Go up the stairs.
The stairs will lead you to a large courtyard. The final altar and Purple Talisman are right there.
When you get close, you will hear someone shout “Run!”. Interact with the altar to get the fourth Purple Talisman.
Facing the Challenge – The Battle with the Supreme Inspector
After you get the last Purple Talisman, the altar will disappear, and a new character will appear – the Supreme Inspector! Prepare yourself for a battle… well, not exactly a “real” battle.
When the Supreme Inspector appears, attack him! Feel free to use all the skills and spells you have. After a while, when the Supreme Inspector’s health bar drops to a certain level, a cutscene will begin. In the cutscene, the Crane Immortal will appear and intervene, ending the fight.
